Sainik School

It is a residential school providing public school education within the reach of the common man and aims to prepare its cadets for induction into the  Armed Forces through NDA and to prepare them to hold responsible positions in other walks of life. The school is one among 26 Sainik schools, which is run by an autonomous body known as SAINIK SCHOOLS SOCIETY. The Society has a Board of Governors that functions under the Chairmanship of the Union Minister of Defence. The Chief Ministers and/or Education Ministers of the State, in which the schools are located, are among the member of the Board of Governors. The Board of Governors lays down the polices governing all the Sainik Schools. For more effective administration and financial control of the Sainik Schools the Board of Governors have formed an Executive Committee headed by the Defence Secretary.

The main aim of the school is to prepare the boys academically , physically and psychologically for entry into National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla. The school gives emphasis on overall development of these boys to make them good citizens of tomorrow. As the very concept of establishing these schools is to bring public school education within the reach of the common man particularly from rural background, the fee structure of Sainik School has been kept at very low level as compared to other Public Schools.

The school will achieve its target of sending at least forty students every year to the National Defence Academy / Naval Academy/ Technical Entry Scheme. The school aims to plant 1000 trees by 2018 and another 1000 by 2020. Our school football team aspires to lift ‘Subroto Cup’.  All efforts of the school are  towards the preparation of the same.
